Rooms At The Inn Retford

Stayed here after party in the square! What a lovely little gem this place is! Very clean, very comfortable, didnt meet the hosts but very friendly bar staff where we collected our keys. 5* We stayed in room number 9 on Saturday 24th August 2025 highly recommended. Thank you keep up the good work. We will be back Excellent location, all amenities within walking distance.

Stayed here with a colleague in May this year. We had a standout experience. Incredibly comfortable and clean rooms, so convenient to be above the pub, on the edge of a very cute high street and just a short walk from the canal (I loved my early morning walk and coffee). The best thing about this place is definitely the staff - service with a big cheshire cat smile. Can't wait to be back on our next trip! Highly recommend :-)

Nice place conveniently located next to the pub! Free parking for guests. Rooms are small but perfectly fine. Piping hot showers! Staff very friendly and good selection of beers. Sadly no food, but can recommend the Everest Indian restaurant not far from here.

Truly excellent stay, great value for money the hotel is perfectly situated at the end of the high street so plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. The property is well maintained and beautifully clean. Retford is a cracking little town. Room came with a fan, only real downside is that the room was warm due to no air conditioning however we visited peak of summer.

Great location in the centre of Retford, the room I had was a bit on the small side but had everything it needed and a Juliette balcony, there is a mini fridge in the room to keep things in but it does hum and may disturb your sleep if you don't realise it can be switched off. Check in and out are a bit different as you get the key from the pub next door at which time you need to give credit or debit card details on a piece of paper, which didn't feel great in terms of the safety of my card details to be honest. A few points to be aware of, they are a '4 in a bed' winner (UK channel 4 tv show) they don't serve breakfast anymore (but did on the show) and some of the rooms are above the pub so could be noisy for some. Overall a good place to stay and great price.

I was oblivious that RATI had won a prestigious TV award when I booked. Only at the moment of leaving, I spotted a framed picture of the owners with the award winning "Four in a bed"! The owner and staff were exceptionally helpful. Great location with a brilliant Baytree bistro opposite for delicious breakfasts. Booked into a deluxe double room- excellent value. Offered all things and more ( fridge, biscuits - makes the cuppa!). It was modern, very clean, tastefully decorated, wonderfully comfortable bed, very good pillows ( for one with neck problems). Slept very well - for outside music/noise, I always use ear plugs - no further disturbance! Free parking - great bonus. Exceptional, a gem! Highly recommended. Belated congratulations on winning "Four in a bed" ! Well deserved! So looking forward to returning when needed!

Nice little place to stay. Has free parking for 6 cars although 10 rooms but was ok when i was there. Room was small but adequate. Bathroom decent size. Even a fridge. I expect if they did the 'four in a bed' which they won, again. They wouldn't now as probably. Not a lot been done since. Traffic noise was a bit annoying when bin lorry came and emptied. Juliet balcony door could do with double glazing. Some. Mould in shower corners. Tv signal poor especially in morning. But in general not a lot to complain about. Completely seperate to pub. Own keyless entry to building. And box to post keys when leaving. Also very central to town, few minutes walk and an Aldi right next door.
